Public Storage - Fairfield - 1296 Kings Highway Cutoff

Great experience all the way around. Sometimes we get used to lukewarm or poor service so that we come to expect it sometimes. Not with Analia and Jerod at Public Storage. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Thank you! Great job training excellent employees and offering a reasonably priced service.

I have to honestly say when I walked into public storage I was really down and the gentleman that took care of my, I wish to God I remembered his name, was so caring and thoughtful, even took the time out of his busy day to talk me through what I was going thru! U have an Angel working there!

I reserved my space online and upon arrival was shown a space better than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only glitch was that they said I had to sign up for their insurance. If I confirmed that I had coverage elsewhere then I could call them back and decline it for a full refund. Within one week I confirmed that I was insured via my homeowner's policy. Then they told me that I had to go into a local Public Storage location, as I rented out of town, fill out the form noting DECLINE and fax it to them. When I called to confirm that they had received the fax I was told that I would be receiving a pro-rated check (when I paid with a CC) sometime in the mail. This doesn't sound like a full refund to me. Upon further investigation, I have been told that the insurance is OPTIONAL and not a Public Storage requirement at all. So now, when I thought I had a good experience, they have totally pissed me off!
